Notice Regional Water Authorities

Customers in Harris County MUD No. 130 receive surface water from the West Harris County Regional Water Authority (West RWA). On your water bill there is a charge for the water provided by the West RWA. The current rate charged by the West RWA is $4.35 per 1,000 gallons.

In Harris County, surface water is provided by several authorities. There is the North Harris County Regional Water Authority as well as the Central Harris County Regional Water Authority.

Recently, the North Harris County Regional Water Authority reduced its charge for surface water. Harris County MUD No. 130 is issuing this notice to clarify that the reduction in the surface water fee implemented by the North Harris County Regional Water Authority does not apply to customers in Harris County MUD No. 130.
